Height Requirements and weight limit

Some of our courses have height requirements and we follow the same color coding as most ski resorts. The easiest courses are marked with orange, while the most challenging ones are black. In between you’ll find light green, dark green, blue and red. The height requirements for the different courses are as follows:

Orange: above 80 cm.
Green/dark green: above 110 cm.
Red/Blue: above 140 cm.
Black: above 160 cm.

Weight limit: 120 kg

If you are visiting the park and planning on venturing on to the different courses or activities, you must complete our waiver form. We strongly recommend that you do this online prior to your visit, as this will save you time when you arrive, but you can do it at our park as well.

If you submit your Waiver Form online it’s valid for the entire season. When arriving with a large group one person may fill out a waiver valid for the entire group.

Submit the waiver form online here.

Weather & Clothes

We recommend that you wear sports/fitness clothing or light hiking gear when you are going climbing in our park. As you will be staying active you might want to wear several layers, so you can take some off as your temperature rises. We recommend you bring a small backpack with a light change of clothes. Running or hiking shoes with a solid sole are preferred.

In case of rain, we recommend you bring some light waterproof clothing with you.

We do not recommend you wear clothing with any strings or cords on to our climbing course.

Food & Drinks

We serve hot and cold food from our café Skikroa during the parks regular opening hours. You can also buy icecream, beverage and snacks.

If you bring food yourself, you can enjoy it outside at our tables. Due to fire hazards it’s not allowed to make fires or use barbecues in and around the park.

Large groups (min 10 persons) can order food in avance. For booking contact us at e-mail: molde@hoytlavt.no
