Everyone who wants to climb the park must complete and submit their own declaration. It is recommended that this is done online before arriving – then you save time. We have backup for those who need to do so on arrival. The self-declaration is valid for the entire season – if you have delivered online. During group visits, a responsible person can fill in for the whole group.

Security & Training

All activities at Høyt & Lavt are quality assured through our routines and internal control. The climbing equipment is checked annually and approved by the National Rail Inspectorate. Safety is the first priority in our business and we are constantly working on development and improvement. We really appreciate your feedback if there should be something to postpone their experience with us!

Weather & Clothing

We recommend exercise clothing or lightweight hiking gear as the best for climbing. You get hot quickly from all the activity, so dress up with the opportunity for relief in the outfit. It may be beneficial to carry a bag of extra clothing. Running shoes or hiking shoes with good soles are preferable. There is no problem climbing while it’s raining – carry some light rainwear in your bag. Be aware that it is stony in the trees. Clothes that can be caught (hoodies etc.) are not recommended. Long hair must also be gathered in elastic or elastic

Food & Drink

From the cafe we serve coffee, ice cream, drinks and a variety of snacks. Guests are also allowed to bring their own food and drinks, but the terrace and cafe are reserved for paying guests. There is also good seating on the lawn in front of the cafe with panoramic views of our longest zip line and Grotjønn. You can also buy juicy hamburgers and sausages delivered by Butcher Eide together with handmade hamburger and sausage bread from the Kitchen Cabinet. Once you have selected your own barbecue meal, take this out and grill it yourself on one of our grills. We have efficient gas grills that we lend to our guests who shop in the cafe.

The regulations for fire prevention : From 15 April to 15 September, it is prohibited to set up fire in or near forests and other areas without permission from the municipality. The local council itself may, by local regulations, derogate from this prohibition if local conditions so require. It is nevertheless allowed to make a fire where it obviously cannot cause a fire.

Accommodation

Currently we do not offer accommodation in the park, but feel free to contact us for alternatives.
