Bus routes to the climbing park from downtown Kristiansand:

Option 1:

Take bus number 19, which goes towards Suldalen. Get off at Suldalen bus stop and walk 700 meters along the lake to the park.

Option 2:

Take the M4 bus towards Hellemyr. Get off at Tjuvhelleren bus stop and follow the hiking trail underneath the large Høyt & Lavt sign, next to the bus stop.

By car – From Stavanger

Follow E39 towards Kristiansand. At Fidjebakken, continue right towards Rige, cross E39 and continue back onto E39 westbound for about 1 km, exiting at the turn-off to Hellemyr. Follow the road for about 1,3 km until you reach Breimyrveien 100, where you will find Parking South.

By car – From Oslo

Follow E18 to Kristiansand and continue on E39 towards Stavanger for about 6 km. After the top of Fidjebakken/E39, take the exit towards Hellemyr. Follow the road for about 1,3 km until you reach Breimyrveien 100, where you will find Parking South

By car – From Setesdalen

Follow Highway 9 towards Kristiansand. 4 km before Kristiansand city-center, close to an ESSO petrol station, turn right at the exit towards Suldalen. At the next intersection, turn right and follow the sign towards Suldalen. After 900 meters, you will reach Parking East, located just past several apartment buildings on the right-hand side.

You can also get to the park by bike. Gamle Mandalsvei, which passes through the park, is part of National Cycle Route 1 and the North Sea Cycle Route. It is only a 3 km bike ride from downtown Kristiansand, and you can park your bike near the cafe and the entrance to the park.
