All activities at Høyt & Lavt are carried out in accordance with strict quality assurance procedures and internal safety standards. Our climbing installations are inspected annually and approved by the Norwegian Railway Authority.
Safety is our highest priority, and we are continuously working to improve and develop our facilities and routines. We greatly appreciate your feedback if there is anything about your experience that did not meet your expectations.
We recommend wearing sportswear or light outdoor clothing when climbing. Since climbing is a physical activity, you’ll warm up quickly, so it’s best to dress in layers that are easy to adjust. Bringing a backpack with an extra change of clothes is also a good idea.
Trainers or hiking shoes with good grip are recommended. Climbing in the rain is no problem, so it’s worth packing a lightweight waterproof jacket.
Please note that the trees contain sap, which can stain clothing. We also recommend avoiding clothing with drawstrings, such as hoodies, as they may present a safety hazard.
