Our trails are marked with colors that indicate the level of difficulty. The easiest are orange, then green and the hardest are red.

HEIGHT & WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS

Minimum length to use the different trails:
Orange: minimum 80 cm
Green: minimum 110 cm
Red: minimum 140cm

Weight: maximum 120 kg

Hemsil
Height minimum: 80 cm
Difficulty level: Orange
About the trail: 1 zip line (return from the island back to the starting point).

Steget
Height minimum: 80 cm
Difficulty level: Orange
About the trail: It starts with a zip line from the tower. 15 elements and 3 zip lines. Children under 12 years needs to be accompanied by an adult. Adults may follow the child from the ground. Recommandation: 1 adult per 3 children.

Veslehorn
Height minimum: 110 cm
Difficulty level: Green
About the trail: It starts with a zip line from the tower. 14 elements and 2 zip lines. 

Totten 
Height minimum: 110 cm
Difficulty level: Green +
About the trail: Starts on the island. 12 elements abd 2 zip lines.

Storehorn
Height minium: 140 cm
Difficulty level: Red
About the trail: It starts with a zip line from the tower. 16 elements and 2 zip lines.

Skogshorn
The climbing tower is the starting point for the following trails: Steget, Veslehorn and Storehorn. Here you can also find:

“The Skogshorn Wall”
4 climbing routes with different difficulty levels
Height minimum: 80 cm

“The Skogshorn Waterfall”
The Skogshorn Waterfall is a jump from our 12 m high tower.  Climb to the top of the tower and jump straight out in the air! Are you tough enough to feel on the tingling  in the stomach before jumping?
Weight limits: minimum 20 kg and maximum 120 kg

Via Ferrata

Via Ferrata

Fixed and organized climbing route to the peak of mount Røggjin.
Experienced guides take you safely up the steep mountainsides and narrow shelves of mount Røggjin. Via Ferrata is Italian and is directly translated to "the iron road", the easiest way to describe Via Ferrata is: a climbing route prepared with wire installations making it easy and safe to climb the route even for complete beginners. To participate you must be at least 12 years old.

Float down a beautiful river dressed in a wetsuit, snorkelling mask and buoyancy west. We swim in the river of Hemsila, snorkel among trout and other fishes in their natural habitat and experience the stunning underwater scenery. An experienced guide will take you safely down the crystal clear river.

Canoe rental

Canoe rental

Rent a canoe in lake Vannen for 24 hours. Vannen is a beautiful mountain lake close to Lykkja/Ulsåkstølen. There are several small islands and other places to go ashore and explore, and you can also paddle to the neighbouring lake, lake Grytevatn. From Grytevatn there's a nice view of the stunning mountains Skogshødn and Nibbi. And Grytevatn usually offers nice temperatures for swimming.

A day in the park helps build up a great appetite. Drinks and snacks can be bought in the reception. You are welcome to use our barbeque spots in the park and other places around Hemsedal town center. Arti Café, next to Spar and Hemsedal Café are the two closest restaurants/cafes.  All guests with a bracelet from the park gets a 15% discount on food at Hemsedal Café. There are barbecues available if you would like to barbecue your own food, please bring barbecue charcoal.
